⚠️ Heads Up, Rexburg! We've identified a potential hazard with the new traffic light on Trejo and Yellowstone regarding the railroad crossing in the area. Crews will be working to program the light so that if the railroad light is flashing red, the traffic signal will not turn green. Programming on this light will delay the use of the light temporarily. Out of caution, our team will be bagging the light tomorrow until the programming has been installed. We expect it to take about a month. 💡❗ Please remember, while a traffic light is bagged, it is treated as though there is no light at that intersection. Safe Travels, Everyone!

🏛️✨ As we wrap up our weekly #TabernacleTuesday series (we may be back with more facts in the future as time goes on), we invite you to join the community and get involved in our Tabernacle Legacy Campaign (TLC). This project aims to renovate and restore our historic 1911 Tabernacle Civic Center. While some of you may know about this special place, we want everyone to realize how important it is for our community. The Tabernacle isn't just a building; it’s a place for friends and families can come together, celebrate our talents, and expand our horizons! To make this happen, we need your help. We invite you to our new See My Legacy TLC Campaign page to see how you can help ensure the future of this space. Here, we're sharing images of what this space has been envisioned for in the future, including a new formal event center, a refreshed auditorium, gorgeous garden spaces, and more. Along with this restoration, the City is working diligently to explore program expansion opportunities to involve more of the community in this central social gathering space. We invite you to share your ideas for the building here. What programming would entice you get involved in the community and the Tabernacle? Please think about supporting the campaign so that together, we can keep the Tabernacle a cherished place for everyone in Rexburg for many years to come! We understand financial strains are difficult. Simply sharing this post can also have a big impact on sharing the word about this monumental effort. 💖🏗️ View the campaign: https://app.seemylegacy.com/community/428/campaign/4481 #PreserveOurHeritage #SeeMyLegacy #RexburgCommunity #RexburgIdaho #CapitalCampaign #TabernacleTuesday #RexburgTabernacle

Residents of Rexburg! The safety of our crews is very high on our priority list. We need your help to keep them safe! Did you know that grass clippings and other yard debris can cause safety issues, including fire hazards, in our garbage trucks? It's true! They do! Please avoid dumping these materials in your garbage bins to help us avoid an emergency. Thank you, Rexburg!
